Investing in the Future: Deep Roots Foundation’s 2024 Scholarship Recipients

At Deep Roots Foundation, we believe that investing in young people is investing in the future of our communities. Every year, we award scholarships to deserving students from local high schools who are pursuing careers in agriculture, business, and related fields. These scholarships are more than financial support—they are a testament to our commitment to empowering the next generation of leaders in our region.

In 2024, we were proud to award four outstanding students with $2,000 scholarships to support their post-secondary education. Each of these recipients has demonstrated hard work, resilience, and a passion for their chosen fields.

Meet Our 2024 Scholarship Recipients

🎓 Sadie Hollingshead (McNaughton High School – Moosomin, SK)
Sadie is pursuing a Diploma in Agricultural Sustainability at Lakeland College. Her passion for sustainable agriculture and community involvement made her an excellent candidate for this scholarship. She has actively contributed to her community through tree planting initiatives and volunteering for local events.

🎓 Reese Kyle (Redvers School – Redvers, SK)
Reese is attending the University of Saskatchewan, working toward a Bachelor of Science in Animal Bioscience. A dedicated student with a strong academic record, Reese has also been actively involved in coaching and officiating football, training horses, and volunteering in her community.

🎓 Harli Cameron (Redvers School – Redvers, SK)
Harli is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Calgary. A well-rounded student, Harli has excelled academically and demonstrated leadership through volunteer work at her school and within the community. Her entrepreneurial spirit is evident through her baking business, Harli’s Signature Sweets.

🎓 Hailey Olson (Maryfield School – Maryfield, SK)
Hailey is attending California State University, Fresno, where she is enrolled in the Business Administration program. A high-achieving student and valedictorian, Hailey has balanced academics with her passion for horses, sports, and community service.

Each of these students embodies the values of hard work, dedication, and giving back to the community—values that are at the heart of Deep Roots Foundation. We are honored to support their educational journeys and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their respective fields.
